OK let’s be honest, these don’t taste like what you would expect when you think of classic cookie dough. They’re different. But hey in my book, different is a good thing! They don’t have the same cookie dough texture, they remind me more of a crumble. They do have the same color so if you can’t taste anything then yes they look like cookie dough! They do have delicious chocolate chips. They don’t have dairy or gluten. My 4 year old did gobble these up, as did his friends.
So do they taste, feel, remind you of the classic cookie dough? Nope. Are they so good a picky toddler can’t stop eating them? Yep. Sounds like we have a winner!
There are very few ingredients which makes them convenient and easy. You can add your own twist to them too. If you’re a walnut lover, go ahead and add some in. How about macadamia nuts, those are pretty tasty too!
